I Need To Breathe

Today was whack-a-doodle. I wished my secondary friend Happy Birthday earlier in the morning. He replied and told me his birthday's on the 29th June. Shucks. Very sorry about that Kok Seng. I'm such a clown.

I dunno if I had a productive session in the morning. Talked a lot. I finished what I want to cover, but I'm not sure if everything went into my head. CRA's alright, do not quite comprehend some CJEs, but I resorted to memory work. Like the stupid realisation of unrealised profits and the first approach for pre-acq dividends.

Tax is a bloody nightmare. I just did the revision paper. Time concerns me, the questions concern me, and the theory concerns me. OMG, screw this. I don't really think Accounts is not for me. Loads of mates told me I should not be in this course. Haha. Getting into accounting course in the uni is way out of line for me anyhow. 3.8 for CGPA? Haha, the highest I can go is like 3.72?

I'm considering Business Admin, Language, or Social Science courses for uni. Some reason or another, the only uni I'm setting my eyes on is SMU. NUS is too difficult to get in, and the word technical in NTU turns me off. What's more, SMU's in douby gaunt and I heard the people there are very sociable and outspoken.

Okay, enough about uni. So the back two subjects for mid sems are SAPM and BC. I think its going to be ok la I guess. Its no joke that year 3's really the tough year cos its the last year.

I need to push... Somebody save me...

25th May 2009

This took place like two weeks ago. But I don't really care haha. Just felt like posting it. Its Katy Perry on American Idol. Man she's HOT! Katy Perry rocks. She's performing her hit: Waking Up In Vegas. The quality ain't so good.

Okay, aside from the above random note, I feel bored from studying, so I'm here to make a post. Don't think I'll be posting much from now on till June? Haha, cos the mid sems are around the corner...And its the final lap. Year 3 is indeed very tough and I'm so glad I've got Business Calculas to balance things out.

Ok, I shall stop here. Later!

My Lips Like Sugar

Random Title. Sorry haha. Its from Flo Rida-Sugar.

I feel free right now. As in, I am done with all the stupid tests. Let's name them shall we?

14th May: CPR test
15th May: Driving test
17th May: Bronze Medallion test
19th May: EXCEL CRA test

So far, I managed to clear CPR and driving test. So I'm proud of myself. Bronze Medallion test did not go so well. I was quite disappointed, but I don't really care anymore. Hehe.

Yesterday, I had CRA Excel test. I think it went well. Balanced the accounts and all, and my partner was awesome. Good job Hana. She was excellent with excel. Though our figure's off with many others, I don't care. I think the test outcome should be above average.

So now, its my final year in Temasek Polytechnic. I want to do my bestest in the upcoming common tests. (Do we call them common tests?) Oh whoops, now I remember: Mid Sem Tests. Haha.

My memory these days suck. I'm getting old. I'm 19.:D Yesterday, when buying drinks for the guys, I forgot what Joshua wanted. Luckily Marcus was there. Dunno, kinda worried. Please still treat me as a friend if I really turn senile okay?:D I feel like I have changed after turning 19. Becoming more like wilder and rascalish. Sorry Pok Chang and Ryan for making fun of you guys. I really mean no harm at all.

I just checked out my timetable. Pretty good. All of them are in the LT. The horrible subjects to be out of the way first. Haha. I hope all AA, CAC and BTM students do their tests in the LT. Muhaha. I'm just joking.:D Please don't beat me up in school if its really the case. :P

June 1: Corporate Report Audit
June 2: Fundamentals of Taxation
June 3: Business Calculas
June 5: Security Analysis Portfolio Management

Unfortunately, my brother Lie Sen's birthday is on the 1st, and my cousin, Zee's birthday's on the 3rd. Sorry if I am unable to attend your birthdays. Here's my apologies in advance.

Seriously, no one want to study with me in Level 3? :( Come on... :D Tag me if you want to. I dun wanna get depression studying alone.

Street Legal

Oh yea. Finally. I passed on my second try. My tester was lenient to be honest, and I forgot the bus lane hours. It was 9 49AM when we were driving outside, and thats 19 minutes after the bus lane hours were closed. So yea, he gave me a lot of chances. Thanks dude. You really rock. I redid my parking twice, as in like reversed halfway, and then decide to go forward to do it again. Strangely enough, the second time round, I was less nervous. My left leg did shake a little, but it was over after a while. All the hard work in CDC paid off. Spent close to $2000 on driving?

So to my dear viewers, here's some advice. Take private lessons, and if possible, just learn AUTO. I regret learning manual haha. It took me 36 lessons, but in the end, I'm gonna be driving an AUTO car. So I got some point deduction for dragging gear 2. Whatever, doesn't apply to me anymore. Hehe, oh yes, very grateful to God that even though I barely made it in the test, I am still very happy.

18 points. Haha.

So now two more tests left. Lifesaving as in swimming and excel CRA test. I don't really give a damn about lifesaving, cos I'm kinda dead for the CPR test. How many litres of blood do you have to lose to become unconcious or dead? Damn question. It was not even in the lifesaving book. Screw it really. I hate the lifesaving tester. He makes a fuss out of the smallest things.

Mid sems are coming, as usual. Just when I thought I could get a little break from all these tests... I'm not so worried about SAPM and Calculas. I am dead worried for the accounting subjects such as CRA and Tax. I better start booking level 3 rooms again to gear up for the tests.

Anyone, interested to study together?

13th May 2009

Yea, I got accepted by Nexia TS Public Accounting Corporation. My second attachment trial. The Heineken boss just did not reply me. LOL. I would rather work in Heineken honestly, cos I get to work in the Finance Department, and finance is what I love. Doesn't matter anyhow, cos given the current economic outlook, I'm considered lucky to get a job placement. So if I do enjoy my internship, I may consider swoping from Consumer Banking to Audit Practice.

This week's a rather dreadful one. I just can't wait for it to be over. My lifesaving CPR and waterworks test is on the 14th and 17th respectively, and my driving test is in the 15th. Excel test is next tuesday on the 19th. Till these obstacles are over, then can I rest easy. I hate this part right here...:D

First five days of turning nineteen are alright. IPOD shuffle rocks. Although I can't really see the track of the songs that are gonna be played next, it kinda adds an interesting suspense haha. Weird. Syncing the ipod was something new to me at first, but I got the hang of it later.:D The music quality rocks! Thanks guys for the present. I hope we get to go out this Friday evening, cos that's my only free time.

If only time could just fly by...

7th May 2009

This is my 150th post! Today totally rocked. I am speechless...

Thank you so much, friends, for making my day. Thank you, Jun Hao, Jun Hong, Edric, Carolyn, Wee Kwang, Guo Zhi, Ann, Josiah and Joanne for the present and the company. We watched Startrek today haha. Also I would like to thank Timothy, Joshua and Yun Kwang for a great afternoon.

I was stunned at KFC for the longest time. I was so touched that I could not cry. I failed to suspect a thing. Not a thing. The scheming plan of theirs worked out perfectly. I got owned by a slightly black chicken wing. That wing just distracted me totally. Damn. Haha, my mind just went blank. I'm sure there are gonna be a lot of stunned and stunning photos of me. It took forever to recover from the shock. Haha, on the whole though, it was a pleasant surprise.

I'll be 19 in 30 minutes. It's crazy. Its my final year of adolescence. Then I'll be in my twenties. I have just one wish. I wish all my family members, relatives, friends, classmates and people whom I love to be healthy, happy and unharmed.

I am blessed. Very blessed and fortunate as a matter or fact. I just hope that everytime whenever I encounter certain setbacks in life, I would stay calm and remember that, no matter how tough your day could be, you are lucky to be in fact breathing right now. I hope my life as 19 would be an excellent one. I have people whom I love and respect, and people who love and respect the way I am, and I am thankful and hopeful that they will stay with me through thick and thin.

Wow, I would say that's something rather mature said by a nineteen year old. Nah, I'm just joking. My goofiness, corniness or lameness is a gift. Haha, its been a roller coaster day.

Thanks everyone,my family, my relatives and my friends, and God bless you all.
